Feedback Request for MOAA

All spouses on deck! I have a request of any of the readers who are willing to take a moment and share your thoughts with me. I will be attending the Military Officer’s Association of America annual conference next month and will be on a military spouse panel. The working title is "Leading from the Homefront: The Evolving Role of Spouses in Today's Military."

I seek feedback from the ones who “know the ropes.” What are your thoughts about how military spouses’ leadership roles continue to develop in today’s military? Feedback provided so far includes:

- Expectation to support military community & unit activities
- Single parents
- Family advocates
- Community leaders
- Caretakers
- Societal changes (e.g. computer marriages where spouses see each other on the weekend due to career choices)
- Dual military couples
